Part of the Bill of Rights, Amendment Nine of the United States Constitution reads:

“The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

Amendment Nine Consulting was founded in 2013 by Damali Rhett.

After reading a copy of the Constitution, this particular Amendment stood out to Damali. The idea behind it is that the Constitution cannot list out every single right held by the people, but that does not mean they are not entitled to those rights. Damali likes to take a same approach of both practicality and idealism with my clients. Every single person deserves to make conscious decisions about their lives.

Damali Rhett has been helping clients since 2008 find their approach to successful careers.

Ms. Damali Rhett has had a long and distinguished career since her very first professional job interning with the American Chemical Society in the Minority Affairs Department. Additionally, Damali has held a Congressional internship. Damali began her career in Public Relations. Damali was able to transition her time in public relations into a successful career in Finance. Damali has always been a problem solver. One earlier example, was when she worked at (then) Datek Online Brokerage services and after four months on the job created a 16-point memo to her Senior Vice-President outlining issues she saw within the customer service department and a number of solutions to fix them. As a result of her initiative, including leading trainings she developed on her downtime, her team was consistently ranked number one. Damali took this same entrepreneurial spirit to the Bank of New York, where she was selected to be on a special committee reporting to the CEO. She was able to save thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours by implementing suggestions.
